Floating corner shelves
Discover the versatility of Strackk's floating corner shelf where design meets functionality. In the world of interior design, it is often the details that transform a space from ordinary to extraordinary. Strackk's corner shelf is a custom-made wall shelf consisting of a left and right shelf which are mitred according to the number of degrees of your interior corner.
The corner shelf is available in various depths and lengths to the nearest centimeter from a total length (the left and right plank part added together) of 110 to a maximum of 700cm. In different depths and in any color you wish. At depths 22 and 29.5cm you can optionally add integrated lighting. The price depends on your choices. A corner shelf you have from €650.
Corner shelf with lighting
Strackk's corner shelves can also be ordered with integrated lighting which are ideal as a corner shelf in the kitchen. With the remote control you can dim the lighting in strength and set it from cold to warm light (white to yellow). So you can have the right ambiance, from work to mood lighting, at the touch of a button. You can choose lighting in the bottom or lighting all around.
If you want functional kitchen lighting, choose the lighting in the underside because it gives more light downwards in working position and is therefore ideal for working lighting above the kitchen sink.
The shelf with all-round lighting gives not only downward lighting but also upward lighting so that items on the shelf are nicely highlighted.
Corner shelf black, white or ...
The corner shelf black and white are the most popular. During the ordering process, you can choose a matte fine textured or silk glass finish. Strackk has off-white, anthracite, silver gray and green as other standard colors. Create a more industrial look with the metallic colors Aluminum, Gunmetal, Bronze or Gold. All colors on our color samples page are readily available. Unsure about the color or finish? Order our color swatches on aluminum so you can take a look at home.
Would you like a specific color of for example Farrow & Ball? Send us an e-mail so that we can request the possibilities from our supplier. For such a specific color is a minimum order of 5 planks.
Measure length and angle
The length of your corner shelf is the length of the left part (wall side) added to the length of the right part of the corner shelf. You enter this total length at Length at the top of the order menu, later you enter the length of the left board portion and the right portion is automatically filled in.
Measuring the internal angle is done using a digital or analog angle meter whose arms are at least 40cm.
Follow the following steps with your goniometer:
- Keep the meter well level (not skewed) during the measurement.
- Place the center of the angle meter exactly at the point where the two walls meet and make sure the arms of the angle meter are flush with the walls.
- Read the number of degrees of the angle.
- Take the measurement several times to ensure accuracy.
- The measured angle, rounded to whole degrees is the number you enter when ordering. Strackk will ensure that the shelves are mitred exactly in the middle of this angle so that you receive a left and right shelf that can be hung seamlessly against each other in the corner.
- Hanging a shelf without lighting is easy according to these instructions.
Assembly shelf with lighting
With a corner shelf, you can choose lighting underneath or lighting all around. Please read our manual so you are well prepared before the shelf is delivered. The shelf does not have a plug that plugs directly into an outlet. A short cable comes out of the back of the shelf. This cable comes out 3cm from the left or right side of the shelf (you choose that when ordering). If you choose cable position on the right, the connection from the left board section will be on the right and from the right board section on the right. If you choose left, the connection in both shelf parts will be on the left. This short 3cm cable must be connected to the longer 3m cable with two boxes (transformer and controller). To keep the shelf free to hang, you can hide this longer cable in the wall or in a cabinet. Just as you would hide electricity for a flat screen TV.
